President's Message

Welcome to Mainstay Insurance Group, Inc., a new insurance Program Administration and Specialty Brokerage company founded on core values of Integrity, Client Success, Achievement, Collaboration and Accountability. We believe the timing is favorable for launch of a fresh new insurance firm that will leverage the program and brokerage experience of its partners to build a truly exceptional Program Administrator.

I have spent the last 20 years of my career focusing on specialty insurance business, the most recent 14 of which building and managing one of the finest Program Administrators in the United States. I co-founded National Specialty Underwriters, Inc. (NSU) with Chris Randall in 1995. We started virtually from scratch and grew the company to what today is one of the largest and most professional companies of its kind in the industry. I enjoyed my time at NSU and am now looking forward to seeing Mainstay reach its full potential as well.

I've always been interested to watch the evolution of the industry over the years.  Today it vaguely resembles that of the past. Both proliferating competition and continued advances in technology now test the limits of traditional product marketing and distribution. As a response, Mainstay has adopted a number of value-added priorities to our strategic plan.  Of utmost importance is specialization. With the use of a specialized approach, we will tailor our risk evaluation, marketing and service strategy in order to maximize performance in all areas of our  business.

We at Mainstay are very excited about the opportunity to leverage our experience and capital to develop a professional new insurance firm. Mainstay is currently reviewing a number of interesting product initiatives. We look forward to talking with any potential business partners who feel they would benefit from working with us.
